A message from the Founder of Humble in Heart Kids
Hello my name is Katherine Rafla! Welcome to Humble in Heart Kids. I am so happy that you are showing interest in helping others. I enjoy helping other people in need and especially helping kids. My passion for helping kids was first sparked when I went on a mission trip to Ecuador in a very small village to build a play ground and to let them know about God’s love. I was 13 at the time and ever since then I learned that I love being able to help other kids and learn about their culture. I realized that these children are not much different from myself. The reason why I am more focused on Egypt is because I am Egyptian. My parents were both born in Cairo and came to the United States when they were teenagers. Working with kids in Egypt would help me learn more about my background and connect with my cultural roots.
